Genital Herpes Diagnosis: It can be so hard to receive your herpes diagnosis.  If you have just found out that you or someone you love has contracted this virus, I am very sorry.  BUT, it is not all bad.  I am sure that many of the feelings you are experiencing could include fear, shame, and regret, but while it's important to honor your feelings, you can absolutely live a great life with herpes.  I have had vaginal genital herpes for over 20 years and can tell you that I have no fear, no shame, and even no regrets. Herpes Or Yeast? Well of course let's hope it's yeast because that one is easy to fix! At the early stages of herpes , the symptoms of herpes and yeast infections can seem very similar.
